The Directorate of Higher Education has sent 1303 posts of vacant assistant professors in the state-aided degree colleges (letter of recommendation for recruitment to the vacant posts) to the Higher Education Services Commission. These 1303 posts of assistant professors are among those 3900 vacant posts. , Which are being verified according to the standards of student-teacher ratio from the level of the directorate.
1303 posts are for 15 subjects, although it is not clear whether the Commission will start the recruitment process for these 1303 posts or wait for the appointment of all 3900 posts. The Chairman of the Commission Prof. Ishwar Chand Vishwakarma said that after getting the appeal, a decision will be taken by talking to the Higher Education Directorate and the government.
If the remaining posts are likely to come soon, then the recruitment process for 3900 posts will be started simultaneously. If the decision is taken, it will be decided to start the recruitment process for 1303 posts. Information about 3900 vacant posts of various subjects was received from the Directorate. In February 2020, the Directorate sent details of the posts to the government.
