The Public Service Commission has postponed the PCS and ACF and RFO 2019 main examination. Both exams will now be held in September and October. The Commission has taken this decision in view of the imposition of a ban of two days a week by the State Government to prevent the increasing infection of Kovid-19.
The PCS 2019 main exam was proposed from 25 August. This exam will now be held from 22 September. Assistant Forest Conservator i.e. ACF and Regional Forest Officer i.e. RFO 2019 Main Examination was proposed from 19 September, which will now be from 15 October. This information has been given by the Controller of Examinations of the Commission, Arvind Kumar Mishra.
The PCS 2019 main examination was earlier scheduled to be held from April 20 but due to the lockdown, the exam could not be held on the scheduled date. The new dates for both exams were announced in the revised exam calendar released on 15 June. PCS and ACF and RFO pre exam was held on 15 December 2019. The result of the pre was declared on 17 February. 6320 candidates for the 529 posts included in both the recruitment have been successful for the main examination.
