It can now take twice as long to check copies of UP board due to social distancing. Board headquarters opened with a third staff from Monday. The most important work at this time is the evaluation of more than 3.10 crore copies at 275 centers of Prajesh. For this, instructions are being sent to districts taking necessary guidance from the government. Social distancing will be taken special care in checking copies. This is estimated to take twice as long. In such a situation, it is difficult to come before the second week of June. Out of the conditions that have arisen due to corona, it is estimated to check the copies in 25 to 20 days. Schools that have been made assessment centers have limited seating. Earlier, four teachers used to sit on a bench and check the copies, but according to the Central Government guidelines, now a distance of at least two meters will have to be kept between two people.
Not only this, it is also difficult to start simultaneous evaluation of all 275 evaluation centers. Districts like Agra, Lucknow, Noida, Meerut, Saharanpur, Moradabad will have to be reviewed as these districts have more than 50 corona patients. And there are many mohalo hospitals. As such, the copies cannot be verified in the evaluation centers located in those areas. According to the sources, 25 will begin to check the copy, but it will take double time to complete.
Late Result
Increasing the lockdown will further delay the result. The results of more than 56 lakh high school and intermediate students were to be declared by April 24. But now the result is not expected to be released till the end of May. Scrutiny and compartment examinations are also set to be delayed due to the result of late.
A new session can start from July 1
The UP Board’s 2020-21 academic session can start from July 1. The session was scheduled to begin on April 1 but the lockdown resulted in a collapse. In such a situation, the government has no other way than to start the session from July 1. Earlier, the session started from July 1, but in the equal competition with CBSE, the session was done from April 1, three years ago.
Due to increasing lockdown, advance registration of class 9 and 11 and filling of the examination form of class 10th and 12th will also be backward. This work was completed in September last year, but this year, due to the way the work of studies and admission has been affected, the date of registration and application of the examination is also going to be extended. In such a situation, high school and inter board examination is also going to be affected. This year, the board started examinations from 18 February. But it will be difficult to get the exam in February next year because the course itself will not be completed.
