Fake calls are being received in the name of passing the UP Board’s High School and Intermediate Examination to the students involved in 2020 and increasing the number. In lieu of this, fraudsters are also giving their bank account number and IFC code to children for depositing money. Secretary UP Board Nina Srivastava has issued a release and appealed to the students not to fall into the trap of such elements. It is a punishable offense. Action is being taken by writing letters to other officers including the police.
The Secretary has clarified that these undesirable elements are trying to fulfill their selfishness by creating confusion between students and parents regarding the examination. The evaluation of the board exam 2020 is currently postponed due to Corona. This type of work is not done by any officer or employee of the board. Take legal action by providing information of mobile phone number and bank account of undesirable elements to the District School Inspector Office and Police Administration in your district. It is worth mentioning that on March 16 last month, such fake calls started coming before the evaluation started. Hindustan published this news prominently on 16 March. In the second week of April last year, student-thugs in Barabanki, Ambedkarnagar, Varanasi demanded money.
