Counseling proposed for admission to B.Ed College of the state including the capital Lucknow has been postponed for the time being. Now this counseling will be held in October.
This decision has been taken in many state universities of the state due to non-graduation final year examinations and results of many. 4,31,904 candidates had applied online for admission in B.Ed colleges of the state. 3,56,946 candidates appeared in the joint entrance examination held on 9 August. Their results were also released on 5 September. Now online off campus counseling has to be done.
State Coordinator of B.Ed. Prof. Amita Bajpai told that earlier this counseling was proposed from 21 September. But due to lack of last year examinations of many universities, it has been decided to postpone it. He said that the government has also accepted it. Proposals have been sought regarding new dates. An advisory committee meeting is being organized on Monday regarding this. The new dates will be decided in the meeting.
