The wait of candidates for admission to ITI (Industrial Training Institute) is over now. There is a chance to apply for admission by 23 August. Admission due to corona infection will be on the basis of merit. There will be applications for admission to a total of 4,92,307 seats including 70 trades of state ITIs and 58 trades of private ITIs across the state. Applications can be made on the institute’s website www.scvtup.in.
According to ITI Lucknow Divisional Joint Director SC Tiwari, there are a total of 1,20,575 seats in the state ITIs of the state, including courses related to the central and state government. While the private ITIs have 3,71,732 seats attached to the central government curriculum. The process of application for admission on these has started by the State Vocational Training Council (SCVT). This process of the first phase will run till 23 August. SCVT will release the merit list in 10 days after the application comes against the seats. In the counseling process, the candidates who do not get state ITIs will have to fill the form again for the upgrade. There is no charge for this.
Fee will be deposited online
Candidates have to submit the application fee online. For the first time in the admission process, the application process has been made OTP based. While applying, OTP will be sent to the candidate’s mobile number after which the forms will be submitted. The general and backward classes will have to pay a fee of Rs 250 and SC / ST candidates Rs 150.
