The entrance test for admission in all 33 Sainik Schools of the country will be conducted on 7 February 2021. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has changed the date of this examination. Earlier the exam was to be held on 10 January. Candidates who wish to apply can now apply till 5 pm on 18 December.

How to apply
Notification for this examination has been released by the NTA on the official website of Sainik School Entrance Exam aissee.nta.nic.in. Examination fees for SC and ST candidates is Rs 400, Rs 550 for all others.
Age range
For admission in Sainik Schools in class 6, the age of the student should be between 10 and 12 years by 31 March 2021. All the Sainik Schools for girls have a provision of admission in class 6 only.
For admission in class 9, the age of the student should be between 13 and 15 years by 31 March 2021. At the time of admission, the student should have passed 8th class from a recognized school.
