The Haryana government has clamped down on the arbitrariness of private schools and has ordered only tuition fees. It has been instructed that private schools will not add other funds in the name of tuition fees.The education directorate has issued a letter in this regard on Thursday.
Despite this, if schools violate the orders, action will be taken under Rule 158 of Haryana Education Rules 2003. However, on April 12 too, the Directorate of Education issued a letter directing private schools to collect tuition fees only on the basis of month. The parents’ problem was published in the Hindustan newspaper on Thursday. The Deputy Superintendent of the Directorate of College Education issued the directive stating that instructions were given to all private schools on 12 April.
There have been complaints from many parents that other fees are being added to tuition fees by private schools.
