Netaji Subhash National Institute of Sports (NSNIS), Patiala and Chennai’s CSS-SRIHER (Sports Science Center – Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research) on Monday launched a ‘six-month online course on sports physiotherapy and sports nutrition.
It was part of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two institutes for introducing certificate courses in sports science. This will give young qualified professionals a chance to advance in their field of expertise.
RS Bishnoi, Senior Executive Director (Academy), Sports Authority of India (SAI) said, “The new curriculum in sports science aims to strengthen the grassroots sports ecosystem by imparting training in a more effective manner.”
