Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) has postponed the Civil Services Preliminary Examination (MPSC prelims exam 2020) for a week. Earlier MPSC Prelims exam was scheduled to be held on 13 September but now it will be on 20 September. The Commission has taken this decision due to hitting the date of NEG UG 2020, the medical entrance examination to be held on September 13 across the country.
The exam was first proposed on 5 April. But it was done in June due to the Kovid-19 epidemic. It was again postponed to 13 September due to ever increasing cases of infection.
This time MPSC exam is being held for 200 recruits in various departments of the state government. The process of application for recruitment lasted from December 2019 to January 2020.
