JEE Mains 2020: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has now released the admit card for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main Examination 2020. In fact, today the Supreme Court has rejected the petition postponing the JEE Main and NEET exam 2020. The court has said that the JEE Main and NEET examinations will be conducted on its own schedule.
The admit card will mention the exam roll number and exam center of the candidate. On the release of the admit card, the candidates will have to go to jeemain.nta.nic.in and download it. The JEE Main Examination will be held from September 1 to September 6. The examination will be in two shifts. The first shift will be from 9 am to 12 noon and the second from 3 pm to 6 pm.
The petition sought the postponement of the proposed JEE Main and NEET UG examinations in September due to rising cases of Kovid-19 infection. A division bench of Justices Arun Kumar Mishra, Justice BR Gavai and Justice Krishna Murari dismissed the plea saying that everything in the country cannot be stopped due to Corona. Justice Mishra asked whether everything should be stopped in the country? (Children) let a precious year be wasted like this? ” The bench said that it had taken the pleas of Solicitor General Tushar Mehta on record that the JEE and NEET examinations would be conducted with adequate precautions.
