For students of technical or management institutes, this time the compulsory internship can be in December. However this will also depend on the status of the lockdown. All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) President Anil Sahastrabuddhe said that students of technical colleges undertake compulsory internships during summer holidays. However, this has not been possible due to the lockdown as students are not able to physically attend it. Through the internship, students get an opportunity to gain practical knowledge as well as to understand the industry. Internships are part of the curriculum. Keeping in mind the current circumstances, AICTE has decided that now students will be able to do internship in December 2020. Because even after the lockdown ends in May, it is to be seen that more people do not gather together, we have to be cautious for some time to come.
Institute cannot pressure students fees:

Along with this, the teachers have been asked to give their full salary on time and not to be removed from the job. Sahastrabuddhe said that online classes would continue during the extended period of lockdown. All universities conduct online classes and can also use the IIT platform in this regard.
