ICSE Board Exam 2021 Cancelled: In view of the circumstances arising due to the Corona epidemic and the health crisis of the students, it has been decided to cancel the 12th board exams. It has also been decided that the CBSE Board Class 12 results will now be passed on the basis of a time bound, objective criteria. Information about the evaluation process has not been given yet.
With the CBSE board exams canceled, the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has also canceled its ICSE exams for this year. Class 12 students will now be assessed through an alternate scheme. The board has not yet given information about this evaluation formula but has said that it will be released soon on the official website.

Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi called for cancellation of CBSE board exams. Judgment has been pronounced. He said that the decision on CBSE’s 12th examination has been taken in the interest of the students. In the meeting, he said that Covid-19 has affected the academic calendar and the issue of board exams is causing immense concern among students, parents and teachers, which should be ended.
Other state boards can also give their decision to cancel their examinations soon. The education minister of UP has also spoken of reconsidering his decision to conduct examinations. However, the Chhattisgarh Board has started the examinations from today itself with the option to take the examination from home. Many states including Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal have congratulated the PM on the decision to cancel the examination.
