The Board of Secondary Education, Haryana (BSEH) has asked all teachers to check the 12th grade copies from their homes due to the lockdown. The Haryana Board has notified this by issuing notifications on its website.
In the notification, Haryana Board President Jagbir Singh has said that the Haryana Board has created 39 marking collection centers across the state. According to the subject, about 3,353 examinees have been appointed to test copies. Of these 160 – Economics, 1061 – English, 94 – Fine Art, 933 – Hindi, 159 – Home Science, 277 – Mathematics, Physical Education – 417, Physical Science – 198, 54 candidates have been appointed for Punjabi. Teachers will submit all copies on May 2 after checking the tearsheet. Teachers will submit copies keeping in mind the social distancing.
Haryana Board of School Education or HBSE conducts 10th and 12th examinations every year. Every year about 3.5 lakh students in 10th and 2.5 lakh students in 12th appear in the examination. In the previous year 2019, 57.39% students passed the Haryana Board 10th. The result of girls was better than boys. Girls passed 62.17% and boys only 53.43%. Four students topped the Haryana Board 10th Examination 2019 by securing 497 out of 500 marks. Himanshu of Jhajjar, Sanju of Panipat, Isha of Kaithal and Shalini of Jind were declared as joint toppers. Second place also had four students who scored 496 out of 500. In 2019, Haryana Board (HBSE) class 12th pass percentage was 74.48%. Girls 82.5% and boys 68%. Deepak Kumar of Bhiwani topped 497 out of 500 (Science Stream). The results of Haryana Board 10th and 12th examination are likely to be released in May this time.
