The Gujarat government has canceled all university examination programs for graduate courses. In view of the danger of Corona epidemic, the government has decided to cancel the All examination of UG. On May 21, Chief Minister Vijay Rupani announced the cancellation of the 2nd, 4th, 6th semester exam for UG courses and to promote the students without examination.

The Gujarat CMO announced the cancellation of the exam on its official Twitter handle. More information about the promotion criteria will soon be made available by the universities of Gujarat. Students who are in medical and paramedical courses, their semester exam has not been canceled yet.
The Chief Minister has announced merit-based promotions to more than 9.5 lakh students in second, fourth and sixth semesters in Gujarat universities, excluding medical and paramedical programs.
Earlier, Gujarat had announced to promote students from class 9 to 11 without examination. In addition, the Gujarat Board of Education has also canceled the Class 10 board examination. In view of the growing coronavirus epidemic, many universities in various states have either postponed or canceled their UG, PG examinations for 2021.
