WhatsApp virtual classes will run from 8 am to 2 pm in all schools of secondary education. At the same time, DIOS, Divisional Joint Education Director and some officers of Directorate will join these groups and monitor it. These instructions were given by the Principal Secretary, Secondary Education Department, Aradhana Shukla during the video conferencing.
He said that after consulting with the principals of all schools, all the DIOS timetables should be prepared and followed. According to the Academic Panchang, a lesson plan should be made so that there will be uniformity across the state.
It should be ensured that by downloading the e-book from the website of the Secondary Education Council and from the initiation portal www.diksha.gov.in, subject-wise videos of all the classes are made compulsorily available to teachers through WhatsApp. He said that in no case during the lockdown period, transportation fees should be charged from the students and regular salary payment of the uneducated teachers should be ensured. Ms. Shukla instructed to download the ‘Arogya Setu’ app in maximum number.
