The Consortium of National Law University has extended the date of filling the form for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2020. The process of filling the form for the CLAT ended on May 18, but now students can apply by July 1. Also, the entrance examination to be held on June 21 has also been postponed. Significantly, due to Corona epidemic, the examination date has been extended for the third time. Earlier this exam was scheduled to be held on 10 May, but it was later increased to 24 May. After this examination was to be held on 21 June. Now it has been postponed once again.
This examination is conducted at the national level for admission in 22 national law universities of the country. Students are admitted to NLU (National Law University) on the basis of merit.
Students passing 12th or 12th examination, who want to pursue a career in law, can register for the CLAT exam. CLAT can be registered for 2020 by going to clat.ac.in or consortiumofnlus.ac.in.
