Theses and evaluation of MTech, MPharma and MARK regular and carryover students of AKTU affiliated institutions will be conducted online in August and September. Instructions have been issued to the institutes on behalf of Controller of Examinations Prof. Rajiv Kumar. According to the instructions, the students appearing in the examination will have to send the list of NOC with email and college login to the university. Only those Masters students who have no backlog in the first three semesters will be eligible for the examination. According to the information, the institutions will have to send the details of the students to the university by 30 July.
Prof. Rajiv Kumar said that the students admitted in the session 2018-19 who are currently in the second year and have filled their examination form, will not have to submit any fees.
He said that the students who were absent in the thesis assessment in the past, will have to pay a fee of Rs 2500.

To appear in the examination, students will be required to submit a research paper presented in an international journal or two international conferences along with the thesis.
